Medical Necessity
Our family, like so many others, was hit with medical absolutes that we tried to dismiss. However - once we realized we could not - we decided to embrace our circumstances. Homeschooling allows us to avoid illness, attend appointments, and shape our day to fit the children.
Family Time
As parents who have non-traditional schedules - we faced a terrible dilemma: how to ever actually spend time raising our children? One kiddo homeschooling, one parent sleeping when family time is occurring, both kiddos sick all the time because of compromised immune systems - and OH the make-up work!
Homeschooling allows us to experience genuine family time. We are experiencing life together!
Peace & Happiness
We saw our family unit tearing apart with so much velocity - we knew we had to jump. The day we decided to commit to homeschooling both kiddos - our lives changed forever. None of this is easy - but that feeling you have when you know you have made the right choice and are doing right by your family - makes the 'tough' so worth it.
